Previously, I wrote about Tourist Visa requirements for Filipino who wish to travel to South Korea. At that time, Korean Visa application is being submitted directly to the Korean Embassy located in McKinley Hill, Taguig City. I know that that it has been over a year since the changes for Korean Visa application was announced, but this is an update for my previous post : https://shanealmej.wordpress.com/2016/04/17/south-korea-tourist-visa-for-filipino-employee/
The required documents are still the same however instead of going directly to the embassy, starting 1st of July 2018, South Korean visa application is only being processed through designated travel agencies due to increased in number of Korean visa applicants. However, the embassy allows walk-in applicants for spouses and children of Koreans, holders of visa issuance number, government employees with official business trip, and for those with humanitarian reason to travel to Korea urgently.
